Koshaa Fine Indian Cuisine

At Koshaa, we aspire to bring authentic traditional Indian flavors to the heart of the Parklawn–Lakeshore area. Our aim is to serve dishes that pay homage to India's rich cultural history, with a focus on exquisite Indian delicacies and exceptional service in a contemporary, family-friendly setting. As enthusiastic food connoisseurs, we believe in curating every dish to perfection.

'Koshaa' is derived from Sanskrit and describes five layers of the body:

  • Mind
  • Intuition
  • Bliss

In ancient teachings, each Koshaa brings a person to complete awareness of their true self. Our hope is that through the experience of our food we take you on a similar journey—peeling the layers that speak to your palate until you reach flavorsome bliss.

Meet the Chef

UshmeetExecutive Chef & Co-Owner

With more than 10 years of full-time experience in the food industry, Ushmeet is the executive chef and co-owner of the restaurant.

He started his career as a chef at Hilton hotels in India and has since served as Head Chef at various hotels and restaurants in Toronto, including a well-known Indian restaurant on the Danforth and in the Entertainment District.

Ushmeet has studied food as part of his graduation and post-graduation. He is a hospitality graduate from the International Institute of Hotel Management in India and holds a post-graduation in Culinary Management from George Brown College in Toronto, which equipped him with a deep understanding of the Canadian food industry and culture.
